ZOMBIES FOR MONEY - SCION RADIO 17 MIX

Zombies For Money - Radio 17 Mix by Breaks Lda. on Mixcloud

Ever since DJ Manaia and Klipar got together and released their debut EP under their moniker Zombies For Money I was hooked on their sound. Their songs are always high-energy, and make great use of organic percussion. Their latest mixtape for Scion Radio 17 is more of the same, and they seem to have pulled out all the stops on this one, a fat 28 tracks fill this hour-long mix that travels at an unrelenting pace and is full of suave edits.

BEATAUCUE - MONTHLY MIX #1 - KITSUNÉ!

Rager of a mix. Loving the variety here — tons of creative house and techno music which shouldn’t be a surprise to fans of artists on Kitsuné. Hopefully Beataucue keeps up this monthly mix and its awesome cover art. Inspiring stuff to handwrite tracklists with such honesty.

J:KENZO - SUB-HEAVY DUBSTEP

J:Kenzo

On last month’s podcast I ended the show with some increasingly speedy bass heavy beats and when we finally hit 140bpm this boomer of a dubstep track comes in. That was a track given away by today’s selecta J:Kenzo, a dubstep producer and DJ from the UK. He started the Soul Shakerz label and has been active in the clean.

Here’s his June mix, though it sounds amazingly good in this chilly weather we’re getting up in Canadaland. Top quality mixing from clearly a skilled producer, you gotta give this a listen if you have an tinge in your ears for dubstep at any level.
